Medical and dental practice activities

Code 8620 covers the provision of outpatient health services by physicians, dentists, and other health-care professionals in offices, clinics, and similar settings. Activities include medical consultations, examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and dental care, but exclude inpatient hospital services and surgical procedures performed in hospitals.
