The D section of the Classificação Nacional de Atividades Econômicas 2.0 groups activities related to the generation, transmission, distribution and commercialisation of electric power and natural gas. It covers utilities that operate power plants, grid networks, gas pipelines, storage facilities and retail supply to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
