The D category of GB/T 4754-2017 covers enterprises that generate, transmit, distribute and sell electricity, steam, hot water, natural gas, LPG and water, as well as related auxiliary services such as grid operation, fuel supply and water treatment. It includes both public utilities and private firms engaged in the production, processing, storage and delivery of these energy and water resources.
