Secondary haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis
**Definition:** This is an uncommon hematologic disorder that, typically, clinically manifests as fever, hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, jaundice and rash, with laboratory findings of histiocytosis, and the pathologic finding of haemophagocytosis, infection-associated.
