Psychotic symptoms in dementia

**Definition:** In addition to the cognitive disturbances characteristic of dementia, the current clinical picture includes clinically significant delusions or hallucinations.

**Exclusions:** - Schizophrenia or other primary psychotic disorders - Secondary psychotic syndrome
