Manufacture of parts and accessories for motor vehicles

The ISIC Rev.4 code 293 covers the manufacturing of components and accessories for motor vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, body panels, interior fittings and other parts that are installed on cars, trucks and buses. Activities include assembling these items, producing spare-parts and related accessories, but exclude the final vehicle assembly, which falls under a different classification.
