Manufacture of basic precious and other non-ferrous metals

The activity covers smelting, refining and alloying of basic precious and other non-ferrous metals such as gold, silver, copper, aluminium, lead and zinc, producing ingots, rods and similar primary metal forms. It includes processing of ore or scrap into these basic metals but does not involve the fabrication of finished metal goods.
