Wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco (ISIC Rev. 4 code 463) comprises establishments engaged in the merchant wholesale trade of edible products, drinkable goods and tobacco items, including bulk procurement, storage, and resale to retailers, institutions or other businesses. It covers a range of activities from importing and exporting to domestic distribution, but excludes retail sales directly to consumers.
