Manufacture of bakery products
The ISIC Rev.4 code 1071 covers the manufacturing of bakery products such as bread, rolls, biscuits, cakes, pastries and similar items, encompassing the preparation of dough, mixing, proofing, baking and finishing processes. Activities include production from raw ingredients, packaging and distribution to wholesale or retail markets. The classification excludes the manufacturing of sugar confectionery, snack foods and other processed foods.
