Manufacture of basic chemicals

The ISIC Rev.4 class 2011 covers establishments that produce basic chemicals, including inorganic chemicals such as acids, alkalis and salts, and organic chemicals such as petro-chemicals, polymers, synthetic resins and basic pharmaceuticals. Activities involve the synthesis, processing and formulation of these primary chemical products for further industrial use.
