Manufacture of wearing apparel

Code 14 covers establishments that produce finished clothing for personal use, including the cutting, sewing, knitting, finishing and assembling of garments such as shirts, trousers, dresses, coats and under-garments. The classification also includes the manufacturing of knitted and woven apparel, as well as the attachment of accessories, but excludes textile production and the retail sale of clothing.
