The code covers enterprises that produce electrical equipment such as electric motors, generators, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, relays, and other devices used for power generation, transmission, distribution and control. It also includes assembly and testing of such products, as well as the manufacturing of related components and accessories. Activities are limited to the manufacturing stage, not the installation or maintenance of the equipment.
