Wholesale trade except motor vehicles

Code 46 designates wholesale trade activities that exclude motor vehicles, covering the bulk distribution of a wide range of goods-such as consumer products, industrial equipment, foodstuffs and textiles-to retailers, institutions and other businesses. It includes firms that act as intermediaries between manufacturers and purchasers but does not encompass automotive or motor-vehicle part sales.
