Rental and leasing activities

Code 77 covers businesses that rent or lease tangible and intangible assets to other parties for a fee. It includes the rental of motor vehicles, machinery, equipment, and other movable goods, as well as leasing of copyrights, patents, franchises and similar intangible property, but excludes real-estate rental activities, which are classified elsewhere.
