The D category of the Malaysia Standard Industrial Classification 2008 covers enterprises engaged in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity, gas, steam and the provision of air-conditioning services. It includes activities such as power-generation plants, natural-gas pipelines, district heating and centralized cooling systems.
