The NAICS 2018 sector 43, Wholesale Trade, comprises establishments that purchase goods from manufacturers, other wholesalers, or importers and resell them to retailers, other businesses, institutions, or the public, typically without significant transformation. It includes both durable-goods and nondurable-goods wholesalers, as well as agents and brokers who arrange sales without taking title to the merchandise.
