Beverages and tobacco

The SITC Rev 4 code 1 groups together all beverages-both alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer, and spirits and non-alcoholic drinks like coffee, tea, and soft drinks-together with tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco and chewing tobacco. This category covers items primarily consumed for their liquid or smoked/chewed form rather than as food.
