I Live animals; animal products

Code 01 in the Schedule B system classifies live animals, encompassing all mammal, bird, reptile, fish and other vertebrate species that are alive when shipped. The category covers animals exported for breeding, food, research, pets, exhibitions or any other purpose.

Code 02 includes raw, unprocessed meat from livestock and poultry and edible offal such as liver, kidneys, heart, and other consumable internal organs, whether fresh, chilled, or frozen, for reporting in the Schedule B export statistics.

Entry 03 includes all fish, crustaceans and molluscs exported from the United States, covering fresh, frozen, dried, canned and otherwise processed seafood products. It is the designation used by exporters and customs for reporting these commodities under the Schedule B system.

Schedule B code 04 covers dairy products such as milk, cheese, butter and related items, together with bird eggs and honey that are exported from the United States. These commodities are grouped for statistical reporting and customs documentation.

Schedule B code 05 covers all commodities derived from animals, including meat, fish, dairy products, eggs, live animals, skins, hides, and related by-products such as animal fats and oils. These items are reported for export statistics to track United States trade in animal-origin goods.
