Code 01 covers the cultivation of field crops such as cereals, legumes, oilseeds and fiber crops, including land preparation, sowing, irrigation, pest control and harvest, performed on agricultural land.

Forestry (code 02) includes the cultivation, management and sustainable use of forest resources, covering activities such as afforestation, reforestation, logging, timber processing, and the production of non-timber forest products, along with related services like forest protection and ecological restoration.

Code 03 - Animal husbandry covers activities related to the breeding, raising, feeding and care of livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and other farmed animals, including the production of meat, milk, eggs, wool and related animal products for domestic consumption or market sale.

Code 04 in the GB/T 4754-2017 classification covers the fishery sector, encompassing the capture of wild fish and other aquatic organisms, aquaculture and breeding of fish, crustaceans and mollusks, as well as associated processing, preservation and marketing activities that transform raw aquatic resources into consumable or industrial products.

Code 05 includes activities that provide support services to primary production sectors such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries. This covers land preparation, seed supply, breeding assistance, fishery gear maintenance, irrigation, pest control, farm management consulting and other ancillary operations that facilitate the core farming, logging, livestock and aquaculture processes.
