Code 66 covers monetary and financial services, encompassing activities such as banking, credit provision, insurance underwriting, securities trading, fund management, and other financial intermediation and support functions that facilitate the flow of capital and manage risk within the national economy.

Code 67 includes enterprises that provide capital-market services such as securities brokerage, underwriting, investment banking, asset and fund management, securities registration and clearing, and other financial intermediation activities that facilitate the issuance, trading and settlement of equity and debt instruments.

Code 68 comprises enterprises that provide risk-transfer services, including life, health, property and casualty insurance underwriting, reinsurance, insurance brokerage, agency and other ancillary activities such as claims adjustment and policy administration. It covers all forms of insurance and related risk-management operations performed for individuals, businesses and other organizations.

Code 69 covers financial activities that do not fit into the main banking, insurance, securities or fund-management categories, such as credit-guarantee services, factoring, financial leasing, venture-capital and private-equity operations, as well as other miscellaneous financial services offered to individuals or enterprises.
